Senexet House is a Victorian "cottage", used originally as a country home. It has been converted into a roomy year-round retreat center.
The living room, with its lovely fireplace, is inviting and conducive to conversations and sharing. There is ample room for large groups to meet comfortably. A cozy library adjoins the living room on one side, and a chapel graces the other side.
A large bright dining room is the setting for delicious meals prepared by our staff. Vegetarian options are always available. A screened porch gives a view of peaceful Roseland Lake and provides seating for outdoor gatherings in the fresh air.
There are 11 bedrooms which vary in size. They contain two to five beds each. There are ample toilet, shower and bathing facilities including a handicap accessible room and bathroom. Wireless access to the internet (WIFI) is provided as well as air conditioning in living areas during warm weather.
Delicious home-cooked meals can be provided or your group can choose to bring and prepare your own meals. Weekend retreats typically include all meals from Friday supper through Sunday lunch. On weekdays and evenings, the House is also available for rent as a meeting space and/or for overnight retreats.
Surrounding Senexet House are 11 acres of pine forest which offer an opportunity to enjoy peace and tranquility outdoors. Quiet walks, inspirational views and the feeling of closeness to nature will uplift the spirits of participants.
There is an outdoor chapel for services and a grassy field for sports and games.
